Make a Nomination

Nominations for the Annual Juanita Haugen Community of Character Awards.

 

A nominated individual must be a Pleasanton resident or do volunteer service in Pleasanton and nominated groups/organizations must conduct volunteer work within Pleasanton, California.

 

This year's nomination deadline is Monday, March 16, 2026.

 

Nominations may be returned to the Community of Character Collaborative at:  [Download Application]

  a. Email the nomination form to: PleasantonCommunityofCharacter@gmail.com.

  b. (or) The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, 777 Peters Ave, Pleasanton, CA 94566-6500.

To nominate an individual or group, please complete the nomination form with the following information:

• Describe the nominee's personal commitment to living the six character traits of the Community of Character and cultivating an ethic of service in the community.

• Explain any obstacles that the nominee (or organization) had to overcome to create the Community of Character efforts for which they are nominated.

• Describe the voluntary / community work or outstanding achievement the person / group has undertaken and indicate why you think they deserve the award.

• Describe how the nominee's activities demonstrate the spirit of volunteering, giving back to the community, and the significance of the impact and how it has contributed to building a stronger community.

 

Awards Luncheon:

May 12, 2026 at the Veterans Hall (301 Main St, Pleasanton, CA 94566), from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.
